Welcome!
a little about me, why I'm here, and what to expect
Why I'm Here
Hey friend, I'm glad you're here.
I'm new to Substack, so let me introduce myself and share a bit of background on why this space exists.
I believe something very deeply…
wise financial stewardship can transform families—and family transformation is a part of making disciples.
That belief shapes everything I do.
Where It Started
Fifteen years ago, I stepped into a role that would shape my entire career—working alongside my dad in his small business.
I was basically his “CFO.” I kept tabs on our data, financials, and goal-setting. He and others built, my brother and I organized. We did this for a few years and had a great time.
Amidst some health challenges, he sold the business in 2017—and I went with it. It was a tumultuous ride (as all family business owners know), but we made it through. And I learned a ton.
Where That Led
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with people much smarter than me, using tools I didn’t have before, and learning how strong planning brings clarity—even in uncertain seasons.
In that same time, my personal life was growing too. My wife and I now have four kids, with baby #5 arriving this September.
Why This Matters
Today, I get to walk with other business owners and Christian families through how they make money, spend it, save it, and give it—always with stewardship and wisdom at the core.
It’s the million small decisions we make that shape who we are and who we become. These choices reveal what’s deep inside us, and I love helping people uncover glimpses of Kingdom-hearted energy and love for God through their financial decisions.
It’s in walking with clients through the everyday questions—What should I do with this cash? How do I prepare for the next season? Am I being faithful with what I have?—that I see a bit of God’s Kingdom breaking into spaces often filled with chaos, pressure, and anxiety.
What to Expect Here
This space is for those conversations.
Simple, grace-filled financial wisdom rooted in sound planning and Biblical truth.
No hype.
No gimmicks.
No sales pitches (I don’t sell products anyway).
Just helpful ideas, honest conversations, and useful resources for your own journey of Biblically rooted life stewardship.
Most posts will be short, actionable, and relevant—think of them as little financial hors d’oeuvres for your mind to munch on.
Thanks for Being Here
If that sounds like something your heart and household need—welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s walk this road with open hands.
